Learning piano under Ben’s teaching for the past three years has been a life-altering experience, to say the least. I’ve learned more about music theory, piano technique, and musical interpretation than I ever thought possible for me. He goes beyond simply teaching students how to play a song. Ben teaches his students to study music from many different angles, from the history behind the composer to the deeper meaning of each individual piece. His lessons change depending on what the student wants to learn, whether that be music theory, jazz, or technique.
